# Emoji+ vs Emoji Mash

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Emoji Mash at none against Emoji+'s 11. Emoji Mash also leads on iOS requirement (8.1 vs 15.0). Emoji+'s advantage is review sentiment (77% vs 50%) and ratings volume (69K vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Emoji+ sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Emoji Mash asks for nothing beyond the download.

Emoji+ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Emoji+ has 69K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 77% of Emoji+'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Emoji Mash's.
