# XLR8 vs Wroom

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wroom at 69% against XLR8's 16%. Wroom also leads on price (Free vs $4.99) and rating (4.3 vs 2.0). XLR8's advantage is update cadence (every 7 months vs every 17 months) and ratings volume (168 vs 17). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Wroom is free to download; XLR8 costs $4.99 up front. XLR8 sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Wroom sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
