# 圣经 vs 百度阅读

The clearest difference is rating: 百度阅读 at 4.8 against 圣经's 4.2. 百度阅读 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 5). 圣经's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 百度阅读 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. 圣经 asks for nothing beyond the download.

百度阅读 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 百度阅读 has 2.7K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 97% of 圣经's written reviews are positive against 93% of 百度阅读's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

圣经 ships an update every 5 months, 百度阅读 monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
