# SimPlates vs IPTV Smart Pro

The clearest difference is price: IPTV Smart Pro at $5.99 against SimPlates's $49.99. IPTV Smart Pro also leads on rating (4.6 vs 1.3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). SimPlates's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

SimPlates costs $49.99 and IPTV Smart Pro $5.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

IPTV Smart Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPTV Smart Pro has 324 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of SimPlates's written reviews are positive against 38% of IPTV Smart Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SimPlates ships an update every 5 months, IPTV Smart Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
