# AfterShip Package Tracker vs Caramel

The clearest difference is rating: AfterShip Package Tracker at 4.7 against Caramel's 3.0. AfterShip Package Tracker also leads on ratings volume (164K vs 2). Caramel's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AfterShip Package Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AfterShip Package Tracker has 164K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of AfterShip Package Tracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Caramel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AfterShip Package Tracker ships an update every 3 weeks, Caramel every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
