# NOTE'd vs PocketJot

The clearest difference is rating: PocketJot at 4.4 against NOTE'd's 3.3. PocketJot also leads on ads (none vs shown). NOTE'd's advantage is ratings volume (354 vs 50) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOTE'd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and PocketJot sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PocketJot holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NOTE'd has 354 ratings behind it against 50, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 43% and 42% positive.

NOTE'd ships an update every 6 weeks, PocketJot every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
