The clearest difference is rating: Note Taker at 4.2 against NOTE'd's 3.3. NOTE'd's advantage is ratings volume (354 vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NOTE'd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Note Taker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
