# Covideo vs Provision

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Covideo at 67% against Provision's 21%. Covideo also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.9) and monetization model (ad-supported vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Covideo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Covideo has 4.7K ratings behind it against 456, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Covideo's written reviews are positive against 21% of Provision's.

Covideo ships an update every 3 weeks, Provision fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
