# Covideo vs VT²GO

The clearest difference is rating: Covideo at 4.7 against VT²GO's 4.1. Covideo also leads on ratings volume (4.8K vs 25) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). VT²GO's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Covideo holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Covideo has 4.8K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Covideo's written reviews are positive against 100% of VT²GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Covideo ships an update every 3 weeks, VT²GO every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
