# List Ease vs Pet Trial

The clearest difference is rating: List Ease at 4.7 against Pet Trial's 3.0. List Ease also leads on ratings volume (54K vs 2). Pet Trial's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

List Ease holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: List Ease has 54K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

List Ease ships an update every 6 weeks, Pet Trial every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
