# List Ease vs SimpList

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: List Ease at none against SimpList's 3. List Ease also leads on ratings volume (54K vs 9) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). SimpList's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SimpList sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. List Ease asks for nothing beyond the download.

SimpList holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: List Ease has 54K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of List Ease's written reviews are positive against 75% of SimpList's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

List Ease ships an update every 6 weeks, SimpList monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
