# Tabla! vs Dholak

The clearest difference is rating: Tabla! at 4.1 against Dholak's 2.6. Tabla! also leads on ratings volume (38 vs 5). Dholak's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tabla! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Dholak asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tabla! holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tabla! has 38 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Tabla!'s written reviews are positive against 33% of Dholak's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
