# Trulia Rentals vs Reptile Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Trulia Rentals at 4.8 against Reptile Tracker's 3.8. Trulia Rentals also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 8) and ratings volume (308K vs 8). Reptile Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reptile Tracker sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Trulia Rentals asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trulia Rentals holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Trulia Rentals has 308K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of Trulia Rentals's written reviews are positive against 67% of Reptile Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Trulia Rentals ships an update every 9 days, Reptile Tracker every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 8, 2026.
