# LongRange vs Univerus Legacy

The clearest difference is update cadence: LongRange at every 2 months against Univerus Legacy's every 12 months. Univerus Legacy's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LongRange ships an update every 2 months, Univerus Legacy every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
