# VO Calendar vs Drafts

The clearest difference is price: Drafts at Free against VO Calendar's $3.99. Drafts also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11K vs 8). VO Calendar's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (94% vs 70%). On rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Drafts is free to download; VO Calendar costs $3.99 up front. Drafts sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. VO Calendar asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drafts holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drafts has 11K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of VO Calendar's written reviews are positive against 70% of Drafts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VO Calendar ships an update every 2 months, Drafts every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
