# Reading Raven vs Fitoons

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Reading Raven at 87% against Fitoons's 63%. Reading Raven also leads on chart position (#171 vs unranked) and price ($2.99 vs $4.99). Fitoons's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 65). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Reading Raven costs $2.99 and Fitoons $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fitoons holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fitoons has 1.3K ratings behind it against 65, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of Reading Raven's written reviews are positive against 63% of Fitoons's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reading Raven ships an update every 16 months, Fitoons every 13 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
