# Archinect vs Forbes

The clearest difference is rating: Forbes at 4.8 against Archinect's 4.0. Forbes also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (170 vs 9). Archinect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Forbes sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Archinect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Forbes holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Forbes has 170 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Archinect's written reviews are positive against 80% of Forbes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Archinect ships an update every 10 months, Forbes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
