# E3 Controller vs eClicker

The clearest difference is price: E3 Controller at Free against eClicker's $4.99. E3 Controller also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). eClicker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 2.9) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 11 months). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

E3 Controller is free to download; eClicker costs $4.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eClicker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E3 Controller has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

E3 Controller ships an update every 11 months, eClicker every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
