# TicTic vs PounceIt

The clearest difference is update cadence: PounceIt at every 2 days against TicTic's every 7 months. TicTic's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TicTic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PounceIt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TicTic ships an update every 7 months, PounceIt every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
