# Grade Pending vs Clean Kitchen

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Grade Pending at none against Clean Kitchen's 3. Grade Pending also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (109 vs 9). Clean Kitchen's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 82%). On price, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clean Kitchen sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Grade Pending asks for nothing beyond the download.

Grade Pending holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Grade Pending has 109 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Grade Pending's written reviews are positive against 100% of Clean Kitchen's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Grade Pending ships an update every 2 months, Clean Kitchen weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
