# IPL vs TopShott

IPL and TopShott both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 71% of TopShott's written reviews are positive against 38% of IPL's. IPL's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 32). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for IPL against 4.5 for TopShott. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IPL has 3K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 38% of IPL's written reviews are positive against 71% of TopShott's.

IPL ships an update fortnightly, TopShott every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
