# Newsify vs Smalltalk

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Smalltalk at none against Newsify's 6. Smalltalk also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Newsify's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 2) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Newsify sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Smalltalk asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smalltalk holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newsify has 4.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
