# Newsify vs 4th Estate

The clearest difference is ads: 4th Estate at none against Newsify's shown. 4th Estate also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). Newsify's advantage is ratings volume (4.5K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Newsify sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and 4th Estate sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
