# iPublishCentral Reader vs Inkwell

iPublishCentral Reader and Inkwell both sit at 3.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Inkwell's written reviews are positive against 19% of iPublishCentral Reader's. iPublishCentral Reader's advantage is ratings volume (160 vs 9) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
