# Excélsior vs RDN Digital

The clearest difference is rating: RDN Digital at 5.0 against Excélsior's 1.9. RDN Digital also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Excélsior's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RDN Digital holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Excélsior has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Excélsior ships an update every 2 months, RDN Digital fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
