# MapPath Pro vs GeoTracker Pro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MapPath Pro at 77% against GeoTracker Pro's 33%. MapPath Pro also leads on price ($1.99 vs $7.99). GeoTracker Pro's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

MapPath Pro costs $1.99 and GeoTracker Pro $7.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GeoTracker Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeoTracker Pro has 48 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of MapPath Pro's written reviews are positive against 33% of GeoTracker Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MapPath Pro ships an update every 5 weeks, GeoTracker Pro every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
