# Scoutly vs Amazon Shipping

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Amazon Shipping at none against Scoutly's 2. Amazon Shipping also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Scoutly's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 20%) and update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scoutly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Amazon Shipping asks for nothing beyond the download.

Amazon Shipping holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scoutly has 872 ratings behind it against 169, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Scoutly's written reviews are positive against 20% of Amazon Shipping's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scoutly ships an update every 10 days, Amazon Shipping monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
