# Wemo vs TECKIN

The clearest difference is rating: Wemo at 4.0 against TECKIN's 1.7. Wemo also leads on ratings volume (117K vs 233). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wemo holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wemo has 117K ratings behind it against 233, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Wemo's written reviews are positive against 11% of TECKIN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wemo ships an update every 2 months, TECKIN monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
