# IQ Test vs BrainPower

The clearest difference is review sentiment: IQ Test at 63% against BrainPower's 14%. IQ Test also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 38) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. IQ Test sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and BrainPower sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

IQ Test holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IQ Test has 2.9K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of IQ Test's written reviews are positive against 14% of BrainPower's.

IQ Test ships an update every 2 months, BrainPower every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
