# 70s Radio+ vs 106.9 The EAGLE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 70s Radio+ at 94% against 106.9 The EAGLE's 33%. 70s Radio+ also leads on ratings volume (4.6K vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 6 months). 106.9 The EAGLE's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

106.9 The EAGLE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 70s Radio+ has 4.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of 70s Radio+'s written reviews are positive against 33% of 106.9 The EAGLE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

70s Radio+ ships an update every 3 months, 106.9 The EAGLE every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
