# Airtasker vs Express Courier

The clearest difference is update cadence: Airtasker at weekly against Express Courier's every 4 months. Airtasker also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 2). Express Courier's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Express Courier holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airtasker has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Airtasker's written reviews are positive against 55% of Express Courier's.

Airtasker ships an update weekly, Express Courier every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
