# Airtasker vs Trucksales

The clearest difference is ads: Airtasker at none against Trucksales's shown. Airtasker also leads on ratings volume (3.1K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). Trucksales's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (54% vs 45%). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Airtasker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airtasker has 3.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Airtasker's written reviews are positive against 54% of Trucksales's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Airtasker ships an update weekly, Trucksales fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
