# Airtasker vs Taskbidders

The clearest difference is monetization model: Taskbidders at free against Airtasker's free with in-app purchases. Taskbidders also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Airtasker's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 6) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Taskbidders holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Airtasker has 3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Airtasker ships an update weekly, Taskbidders every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
