# Miles & More vs Oberstdorf

The clearest difference is rating: Miles & More at 4.5 against Oberstdorf's 2.0. Miles & More also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). Oberstdorf's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (67% vs 54%). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Miles & More holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miles & More has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Miles & More's written reviews are positive against 67% of Oberstdorf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Miles & More ships an update every 3 weeks, Oberstdorf every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
