# Journal de Québec vs Canada Press

The clearest difference is monetization model: Canada Press at free with in-app purchases against Journal de Québec's subscription. Canada Press also leads on review sentiment (59% vs 48%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Journal de Québec sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Canada Press sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Journal de Québec against 4.6 for Canada Press. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 29 and 55 respectively.
