# MVTV vs CH7ON

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MVTV at 100% against CH7ON's 17%. MVTV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5). CH7ON's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.0) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CH7ON sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. MVTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

CH7ON holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CH7ON has 167 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MVTV's written reviews are positive against 17% of CH7ON's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MVTV ships an update every 2 months, CH7ON every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
