# PostNL vs DrillRight

The clearest difference is rating: DrillRight at 5.0 against PostNL's 4.5. DrillRight also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). PostNL's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 7). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DrillRight holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PostNL has 2.1K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of PostNL's written reviews are positive against 0% of DrillRight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PostNL ships an update every 2 weeks, DrillRight every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
