# Gymglish vs Language learning

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Gymglish at 218 against Language learning's 2. Gymglish also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gymglish sells 45 in-app purchases, starting at $8.90 per month and Language learning sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Gymglish against 4.5 for Language learning. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gymglish has 218 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Gymglish ships an update every 3 weeks, Language learning every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
