# Ink Blot Profile vs Fasting Tracker

The clearest difference is price: Fasting Tracker at Free against Ink Blot Profile's $0.99. Fasting Tracker also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 23 months). Ink Blot Profile's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and ads (none vs shown). On device support there is nothing between them.

Fasting Tracker holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fasting Tracker has 428 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Ink Blot Profile's written reviews are positive against 61% of Fasting Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
