# Tell Time ! ! vs Telling Time Academy

Tell Time ! ! and Telling Time Academy both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 49% of Tell Time ! !'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Telling Time Academy's. Tell Time ! ! also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (218 vs 27). Telling Time Academy's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 12 months). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Telling Time Academy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tell Time ! ! asks for nothing beyond the download.

Telling Time Academy holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tell Time ! ! has 218 ratings behind it against 27, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Tell Time ! !'s written reviews are positive against 0% of Telling Time Academy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tell Time ! ! ships an update every 12 months, Telling Time Academy every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
