# 酷电吉他 vs Bagpipe Sim

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 酷电吉他 at none against Bagpipe Sim's 1. 酷电吉他 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Bagpipe Sim's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 32%) and ratings volume (12 vs 1). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bagpipe Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 酷电吉他 asks for nothing beyond the download.

酷电吉他 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bagpipe Sim has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of 酷电吉他's written reviews are positive against 50% of Bagpipe Sim's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
