# Paint vs Super Simple Draw

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Super Simple Draw at 82% against Paint's 18%. Super Simple Draw also leads on rating (4.7 vs 2.4) and ratings volume (4K vs 12). Paint's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paint sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Super Simple Draw sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Super Simple Draw holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Simple Draw has 4K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 18% of Paint's written reviews are positive against 82% of Super Simple Draw's.

Paint ships an update monthly, Super Simple Draw every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
