# The Upper Room vs Connected by LHM

The clearest difference is rating: The Upper Room at 4.7 against Connected by LHM's 4.2. The Upper Room also leads on ratings volume (2.5K vs 48) and chart position (#203 vs unranked). Connected by LHM's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and review sentiment (64% vs 39%). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Upper Room sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Connected by LHM asks for nothing beyond the download.

The Upper Room holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Upper Room has 2.5K ratings behind it against 48, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of The Upper Room's written reviews are positive against 64% of Connected by LHM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
