# Egypt Press vs IDSC

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IDSC at none against Egypt Press's 4. IDSC also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). Egypt Press's advantage is ratings volume (172 vs 12). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Egypt Press sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. IDSC asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Egypt Press against 4.5 for IDSC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Egypt Press has 172 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.
