# Crepe Maker vs Candy Bar Maker

The clearest difference is ads: Crepe Maker at none against Candy Bar Maker's shown. Crepe Maker also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). Candy Bar Maker's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 45 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Crepe Maker sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Candy Bar Maker sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Candy Bar Maker holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Candy Bar Maker has 1.5K ratings behind it against 248, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 77% and 77% positive.

Crepe Maker ships an update every 45 months, Candy Bar Maker weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
