# Chinese Flashcards vs Chinese Language Learning+

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chinese Language Learning+ at 100% against Chinese Flashcards's 0%. Chinese Language Learning+ also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). Chinese Flashcards's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chinese Flashcards sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month and Chinese Language Learning+ sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Chinese Flashcards holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chinese Language Learning+ has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Chinese Flashcards's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chinese Language Learning+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chinese Flashcards ships an update every 10 months, Chinese Language Learning+ monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
