# Tiny Calendar vs MyDayWidget

The clearest difference is monetization model: MyDayWidget at free with in-app purchases against Tiny Calendar's subscription. MyDayWidget also leads on ads (none vs shown). Tiny Calendar's advantage is ratings volume (21K vs 31) and review sentiment (76% vs 62%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiny Calendar sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and MyDayWidget sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tiny Calendar holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiny Calendar has 21K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 76% of Tiny Calendar's written reviews are positive against 62% of MyDayWidget's.

Tiny Calendar ships an update every 2 months, MyDayWidget every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
