# Tiny Calendar vs Planner Pro

The clearest difference is monetization model: Planner Pro at free with in-app purchases against Tiny Calendar's subscription. Planner Pro also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiny Calendar sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days and Planner Pro sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Tiny Calendar against 4.5 for Planner Pro. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 21K and 13K respectively.

Tiny Calendar ships an update every 2 months, Planner Pro every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
