# Office Plus vs eFiles

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Office Plus at 78% against eFiles's 25%. Office Plus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). eFiles's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (58 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Office Plus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and eFiles sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eFiles holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eFiles has 58 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Office Plus's written reviews are positive against 25% of eFiles's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Office Plus ships an update every 2 weeks, eFiles every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
