# Office Plus vs Documents

The clearest difference is rating: Documents at 4.5 against Office Plus's 3.6. Documents also leads on ratings volume (286 vs 5). Office Plus's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (78% vs 43%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Office Plus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Documents sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Documents holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Documents has 286 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Office Plus's written reviews are positive against 43% of Documents's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Office Plus ships an update every 2 weeks, Documents every 50 months. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
